Recently I wrote that I've
switched to Linux, saying I'm using Arch.
Because I was fed up with fighting with CUDA and other "well-tested" software on a
rolling distro I've switched to a more stable one. My choice is
Scientific Linux, a recompilation of RHEL.
So here's my promise:
If in 4 months I'm still using a RHEL derivate I will buy a desktop license to
show my support to Red Hat.
I know giving 50 bucks to a company sounds stupid, but I think it's the right thing to
do if I use a RHEL derivate.
If I settle on another distribution I will make a donation to it.
I encourage you to do the same for your favorite open source project.
